"Metacoupling Framework Workshop" was held

"Metacoupling Framework Workshop" was held from June 27th to 29th 2023 both offline and online via Zoom. The workshop was organized by IGU-GFE and the journal Geography and Sustainability.

The invited speaker Prof. Jianguo Liu is the Rachel Carson Chair in Sustainability, Distinguished Professor and director of the Center for Systems Integration and Sustainability, Michigan State University, USA. He shared his expertise on the new interdisciplinary frontier, that is, the metacoupling framework.

Topics of the workshop include: i) new interdisciplinary frontier: metacoupling, ii) multiple functions and global applications of the metacoupling framework, iii) future directions of research on metacoupling. The workshop was freely open to all participants worldwide and attracted more than 400 experts, scholars, and students.
